		<description>.. i ordered this tripod back in february including another things from dealextreme&#039;s site.. other things arrived.. tripod doesn&#039;t.. i&#039;m still waiting.. 

For the record.. all things I ordered from DX arived within a month or two (Colombia, South America) except the tripod.</description>

		<description>yes kevin, you can detach the black thing. As a matter of fact, the tripod part broke after some heavy usage recently but i kept the black plastic and will use it on my new tripods later on.</description>

		<description>I use the little folding plastic stand that came with my 5800xm - if you tilt the phone in the stand so it&#039;s upright, it balances there quite well (it balances even better with a £3 silicon case on the phone). I would take a photo, but i don&#039;t have another camera handy.</description>
