One of the blogging tools that Dotsisx and I use on our S60-powered smartphones is a great little application called WordMobi. This application, written in Python for S60, allows us to compose blog posts directly from our phone, which we can then publish directly into our WordPress backend. It’s really a great tool that allows us to work from virtually anywhere in the world, even without a data connection.
WordMobi includes support for adding in special code, such as links and text formatting. This latest version, v0.7, adds support for multiple blogs, which is fantastic for me, as I have 3 WordPress-powered blogs that I update regularly. Previously, I would have to manually change the login information for each blog post that I wanted to publish to a different blog – a real headache, if you can imagine. Great job to Marcelo (who is also responsible for IAmDoing)!
You can download the updated version of WordMobi here, and don’t forget, you’ll need to also have Python for S60 installed on your phone.
