The 2009 Nokia Developer Summit has been taking place over the past couple of days, including the 24-hour Hack-a-thon that we told you about previously. While our own Imran wasn’t in the finals, we’re still pumped about the winning widget, called Rocket. David Emmanuel Castro Guerrero worked with Plusmo to create his dream widget, Rocket, which shows nearby friends on the N97’s homescreen.
David won a free Nokia N97, which will be delivered to him with his Rocket widget pre-installed, just after the phone launches in June. In addition. Rocket will be featured on the front page of the Ovi Store when it launches in May, for all to download and use.
