We missed out on that coupon a few days ago that was too good to be true, but that’s not stopping Amazon and Nokia from teaming up to offer $50 savings on new unlocked smartphones, for a limited time. Nokia Phone Blog has discovered that Nokia has introduced a $50 Visa card rebate, eligible for use to save some money on a number of new S60-powered smartphones, such as the E63, or my favorite, the N79.
The rebate form can be downloaded here, and does have the usual restrictions. You *must* have purchased the handset between May 11 and June 30, and have to have the form mailed in before July 31, so there is an element of urgency. However, that’s one sided, as the rebate form clarifies that it can take 8-10 weeks for you to receive your rebate card. That’s at least 2 months, folks, so don’t count on getting that cash back quickly.
You can use the rebate on the Nokia E63, Nokia E75, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia N85, or Nokia N79. If you’re going to save the $50, though, you might as well spring for the 16GB microSD, which rings up for just under $45, before tax.
Which phone, of those, do you like the best?
