Using the application update function on the 5800 Xpress Music you can now get the latest version of Adobe Flash Lite version 3.1.
Adobe Flash Lite enables you to view flash content on your phone and this component have been an integrated part of the Symbian operating System. Updates of the software could only be done through a firmware update until now. Having this outside of the firmware update could mean that they are planning on releasing more frequent updates for Adobe on Symbian powered handsets.
The version numbers suggests that it’s similar to the same version that was released by Adobe themselves as being called the distributable player, which was a preview for developers. Having flash being updated frequently sure does seem exciting and will surely enrich the experience on our handsets.
