Nokia has this really frustrating habit of releasing a phone in a couple of colors, waiting a few months, and then releasing an ultra-hot version clad in all black, which I like to call Batman style. The most recent instance of this is now the Nokia E63, typically known as the E71′s little brother. Initially announced in red and blue, an eagle-eyed reader noticed that there’s now a black variant listed on Nokia Europe’s E63 page, hinting that it should be available soon.
We don’t have any confirmation if this color scheme will be carrier-specific, or even if the NAM variant will be available in this black color scheme, but we do know one thing – anyone that has the black one, and wants to trade it for a blue NAM unit can promptly email me to swap. The blue E63 NAM is available from Amazon now for $237.50 – not a bad price for S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1, 3G (albeit without HSDPA), WiFi, and a standard 3.5mm audio port.
