Today the Nokia Beta Labs announced a few updates to the free web-based Ovi Mail service that launched earlier this year. The service is now able to automatically check for new messages, rather than requiring you to click ‘Check for new mail’. Also, you can mark new messages as read without having to open them, a handy feature for notifications or potential spam.
The team has also worked hard to include three new languages: Italian, Vietnamese, and Latin America Spanish, so that more of you can use Ovi Mail in your own native language. While it’s not quite there yet, the team did mention that they’re working on adding Contacts integration, so that if you use Ovi Sync, your contacts will show up in the webmail, as well.
You can check out Ovi Mail here.
