With the demise of Mobile Industry Review, many of us were saddened, and wondered just what James Whatley, Ben Smith, and Dan Lane were going to do next. Then, up popped a cryptic landing page, with the above logo. If you know these guys at all, you’d know that was James Whatley’s precious N95 8GB, Dan Lane’s iPhone, and Ben Smith’s G1, though the E71, with a sexy high heeled shoe, was unknown, at the time. We now know that this is The Really Mobile Project, the shoe belongs to the talented Vikki Chowney, and it’s all quite awesome.
The team will be continuing to cover the mobile industry with high-quality videos and hands-on reviews of various devices and services. With an S60 fanboy, an iPhone fanboy, and an Android fanboy, I reckon we’ll see some interesting discussions over there. The Really Mobile Project is certainly something you’ll want in your RSS reader, without question. They’ve also put together a fantastic mobile version, which should auto-detect your phone.
