As part of our efforts to make Symbian-Guru an awesome place for you to not only keep up with the latest Symbian news, get reviews on handsets and accessories, and find out about the latest applications, we also want to make sure it’s easy for you to share those findings with your friends. As such, we have recently installed the Wibiya toolbar. You can also see this in action at our friend ZOMGitsCJ, as well.
The Wibiya toolbar shows up at the bottom of the screen when you’re browsing Symbian-Guru, and allows you to easily see our latest Twitter post, connect to your Facebook account, and share a given post on any number of social networking sites. There is also a fun Random Post button that you can click to be randomly taken to one of our older posts, which is kind of fun if you’ve got some time.
The toolbar can be hidden, if you’d like, by clicking the double-arrow button on the far right. We’ve had this on the site for the past week, and would like to know what you think? If you’ve got a minute, please test out some of the features, and let us know in the comments if it’s something you think really adds to the site. If you don’t like it, please let us know why, as well. There is currently a known issue where the Wibiya toolbar does not play nicely with flash-based parts of the site – the team is working on that, and should have it fixed soon, we’re told.
