Remember those bar codes we used to play with on our phones? From what I know it was never quite the success. Of course you can argue that it was successful by looking at the hype around it such as T-shirts and other merchandises you can buy and treasure hunting. However a quick search reveals that there are already a ton of different types of barcodes out there as well as different readers. So do we really have room for yet another type of barcode out there?
Obviously Microsoft thinks so, and along with their new tag they’ve released a Symbian client to be able to read those tags. Available from Microsoft you can download this client and also read about it. Trying the client it was very fast to resolve the tags but I’m not particularly interested. How about you?
