Mobiado just announced the Grand 350PRL, which was leaked at MobileBurn.com recently. If you aren’t familiar with them, Mobiado is a luxury cell phone….manufacturer….well known for taking Nokia’s high-end S40 handsets and casing them in all manner of luxurious materials. The Grand 350PRL is Mobiado’s first QWERTY model, and upon closer inspection, it looks like a pimped-out E71.
As you can see in the photos, the Mobiado Grand 350PRL sports the same row of shortcut buttons in the middle of the navigational cluster, as well as the thin profile and microUSB/microSD ports on the side. According to the specs, you’ll also find that same 3.2 megapixel camera, built-in GPS, and 2.5mm audio port. You can check out the full specs of the Mobiado Grand 350PRL on their website, and keep in mind pricing is not announced. It’s likely one of those ‘if you have to ask, you can’t afford it’ type things.
I believe this is the first uber-luxury Symbian smartphone on the planet, beating out even Nokia’s own Vertu product line. I’d love to see an actual unit, to see what changes were made to the actual OS. If anyone has one, PLEASE also extract the themes, as I’m sure they’re uber-classy, too. I’d also be interested to try out the keyboard, as it’s quite different from the one on the Nokia E71, with individually-cut buttons and a bit of spacing between them.
