If you’re reading this, that means we’ve successfully moved to our brand spanking new hosting account, complete with a new set of servers for us to max out! First, please accept our dearest apologies for the hassles with the site over the past few days – believe me, you saw the pretty side of that!
The good news is that we should be rocking and rolling now – these new servers will allow us to continue growing, which means the site should load much faster, and there should be less – if any – downtime. Unfortunately, the bad news is that we lost a few posts (I’m working on that now) and we lost a load of comments from the forum. If you commented in the past few days, there’s a chance it was lost – please don’t assume we deleted them on purpose.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, we’ll be implementing accurate comment count (for Viipottaja) and a much better way of presenting comments here on the site. The mobile site will also be getting a redesign shortly. Thanks again for your patience while we experience some growing pains, but more importantly, thanks so much for giving us these growing pains in the first place! We certainly wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for readers like you.
