Amazon is one of my favorite places to buy phones from. They have awesome service, are quick, and usually have great pricing, too. Today, while doing my daily check for the Nokia N86 8MP (it’s not listed yet, boo), I noticed that the N97 received a major price drop, down to $599.99, shipping directly from Amazon! That’s $100 cheaper than Nokia wants for this flagship Nseries, and you can get it shipped 2nd day for only $12!
Also, my personal favorite Nseries at the moment, the Nokia N79, is down to only $299.99, which is a downright bargain for a full-featured candybar smartphone. This thing is small, has stable firmware, solid battery life, and is full featured, with US 3G support, WiFi, GPS, a 5 megapixel camera, and accelerometer. For $300, it’s hard to beat, that’s for sure.
If you’re more of the QWERTY conviction, you can also pick up the E71 for $300, though that’s not quite the same bargain, in my opinion. The N85 is also only $330 from Amazon, and the 5800 XpressMusic is down to a comfortable $299.99.
Anyone who says Nokia’s smartphones are too expensive need to start shopping around, basically. Which one of these phones is your personal favorite?
