Jennifer Garner Rocks The E71

One of Mrs. Guru’s favorite new shows is Alias – she’s got her whole Netflix queue loaded up with the  back seasons. She was super-excited to see a few photos, then, of Jennifer Garner sporting the Nokia E71, on the set of upcoming movie Valentine’s Day. Garner is rocking out with the grey E71, which is definitely cool, and something I hope is highlighted in the movie. There are also reports that Sandra Bullock’s character in The Proposal is using an E71, but I haven’t been able to find a photo showing this.

I’m glad to see Nokia continuing to use product placement in movies to drive awareness, and I think it’s interesting that of all the E71 owners I know personally, most are ladies – Mrs. Guru has one, Dotsisx obviously loves hers, and our good friend has an E71x that she loves. I would never have pinned it as a ‘chick phone’.

    I don’t think the E71 is a chick phone. Well ok, maybe it is. But either way, I’m a guy and I like my sleek black E71x. And for $100 when it came in stores for a first day sale, not too bad.

    FYI, Sam in Burn Notice was using an E71 for a few episodes and seems to have ‘upgraded’ to one of the newer E-Series in the latest episode.

    I’m a dude and I like the E71. But I’d probably have to admit; it’s a chick phone… A phone I wish my “chick” would have gotten like I recommended instead of that Blackberry Curve she has.

    Not at all, its more like a Matrix type looking phone but Ms. NMT also diggs mine big time but her heart is set on an XM 5800 I have to buy her soon for her bday. Perhaps Nokia will start doing these on Pink for the ladies, hmm.

    I’ve seen Sam Axe using that E-71 on a couple of episodes of Burn Notice; needless to say I was pretty pleased. I absolutely love my E-71, having had it since Feb 2009.

    Having said that, I will be doing the upgrade to the E-72 when it shows up in the NAM marketplace later this year (more memory and a 3.5mm jack..yes!)

    i know also a lot of chicks with this phone n im glad so i can show them how it works… I have seen 4 guys well 3 1 was gay n the rest where all chicks.. About 13.. Love the e71. Im wsiting for the e72.. Big up to nokia n people who make symbian a joy!!!!!
