The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic which was unwrapped rather than announced the usual way has now hit the FCC. This handset features kinetic scrolling, a new widget for music playback on the homescreen and a virtual qwerty keyboard for text input, as well as the full Symbian S60 5th Edition software.
It’s a quadband handset, with a 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth, a nice 2.9″ touchscreen, WiFi, an improved homescreen compared to the nokia 5800XM, and features a nice metal rim around the edges.
Unfortunately as TheGuru predicted, there is no 3G on this handset and for speedier data connection you are dependent on wifi. After all it is the “little brother” of the 5800 XpressMusic and as siblings must, they fight each other. With the consequence of having something better and some drawbacks.
