Black Euro3, everything is in order. Installs were fine.
Playing N-Gage games on N97 is a real joy I must say :).
AFAIK Australia is shafted from the updates and for operator branded phones not everything is available.

White NAM – Very spotty and several failures over the air on AT&T. On wi-fi worked like a charm…. if you have memory error messages run the C drive cleanup first.

Black n97, India. Got the update but they did not include the nokia messaging update in the package. Got only the NGAGE,the memory enhancer for C. Got it OTA and it worked fine out here. i think they have given these updates based on ‘areas’. Did not get the OVI contact update too. Hopefully, in due course they will give. But it is amazing that N97 loudpeakers are nowhere near 5800, which i own. It’s hard to digest because they tout N97 as flagship. Can loudspeakers be tweaked through a firmware?

    a few odd things:

    1. Phone Memory Update seems to become available for me again after reboot – after every reboot. it installs “successfully” each time but is always available again the next time i check for updates after rebooting.

    2. Maps update to 3.1 is the same – always available again after a reboot. more than just this, running the maps app after a reboot causes it to ask me to go update it. i’ve checked version numbers, it’s not an update, same version every time.

    3. people are reporting C: drive usage and free ram number that don’t make sense to me. my C: drive is essentially empty (that is, nothing directly installed on it – it it came preinstalled and i was able to remove it i have done so already) and even after the phone memory update i have 17.7MB free. anyone else seeing similar drive utilization? i’ve deleted c:dmgr and c:cache using y-browser to no avail. others are reporting upwards of 47mb free on drive c: – am i using 30mb i could free up somewhere, or does everyone see similar numbers to mine?

I have a white N97 NAM. Everything worked fine OTA for me.I had to first install the phone memory update before checking the other ones to free up memory first before installing N-Gage or Ovi Maps 3.0 (since they both require a considerable amount of space). I was able to free about 10MB after installing the phone memory udpate but I think it will vary among users.

This is likened to a windows update and not suitable to a flagship device from the world’s # handset manufacturer. 700 bucks later and you get a memory error trying to install an update to fix a memory problem.

I have the NAM N97. All updates were available and installed yesterday. All worked fine….but I removed Ovi Contacts (shown as Contacts on Ovi in App Manager). That was an unneeded change as far as I can see as it created a third folder in the contacts feature that remained blank until I synced using Ovi Suite 2.0 beta. All that did was take my contacts from the generic contacts folder main tab and copy them to the new 2nd tab.

My guess is that for those using Ovi Contacts to chat this feature adds the phone’s contacts to Ovi Contacts for chatting purposes. If that is the case then it makes sense as that is one of the reasons I removed Ovi contacts a couple of weeks ago. My contacts already loaded into the phone were not applied to Ovi Contacts. The other reason I removed it is no one I know uses Ovi so the tool would be eating space on the phone for nothing.

    Using EMEA_SCAND_QW2 Black N97
At first I did get the same as jared in regards to the phone memory update. It showed up despite I installed it yesterday along with N-gage (Obviously).
The N-gage application didn’t show up though.

When I now tried again it dissapeared (after installing it and then restart the phone)

The rest of the software shows up, but that is because I haven’t installed them.
