A few months ago, the official information page for Nokia World 2009 went live, letting us know that the event will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, and will be held a few months earlier than normal, on September 2-3, 2009. I’ve received confirmation that I will be attending this year, thanks to Nokia, as I have the past two years. Nokia World is a bit different than the bigger industry shows such as CES, CTIA, and MWC, because it’s all about Nokia, and them building their relationships with partners around the world. It’s less a ‘look shiny’ event, and more a ‘look, this is what we’re doing’ event.
One of my favorite Nokians of all time, Mark Selby, has put together a short little introduction video for Nokia World 2009, which you can watch here:

The event kicks off in 7 weeks or so, and I can’t wait to bring you as much coverage as possible. You can click here to check out what happened at Nokia World 2008.
On a side note, don’t you just love Mark Selby’s voice? I think he could have a very profitable career reading children’s books aloud.
