Our friends at SymbianGuru.com (no relation) have updated their awesome AutoThemes and AutoProfiles applications to be compatible with S60 5th Edition smartphones such as the Samsung i8910 OmniaHD, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia N97, and Nokia 5530 XpressMusic! These are just two of the handful of great applications that SymbianGuru has put together for Symbian-powered smartphones.
AutoThemes allows you to automatically change your phone’s theme based on user-customisable rules, such as the time of day or the profile that your phone is in. For instance, if you like to walk on the wild side with your phone’s theme during the weekend, but at work, need a more professional look – AutoThemes can help you make sure you don’t forget to change back to the appropriate theme.
AutoProfiles does the same thing, only with your phone’s audio profiles. AutoProfiles automates based on schedule, and is able to pull information from your phone’s calendar. This way, you can automatically have your phone changed to silent just before a meeting, for instance. It can also be used to toggle Bluetooth on or off, which can also make things much easier.
Obviously, you can use AutoThemes in tandem with AutoProfiles to change your theme and profile based on various events. Each application is only $9.99, and available through the Symbian-Guru Store, where you can re-download your purchased applications as often as you need to.
