They say when it rains, it pours, and that is absolutely right. I’m finding myself now in possession of two great handsets, the Nokia N97 which is the subject of my Demystifying The N97 series, as well as the Nokia N86 8MP which I got to play with for a day during my Carl Zeiss Factory Tour trip, but which I have now for a full week to test and report on.
Since there aren’t a lot of N86 8MP unboxing videos around, I thought I’d share one with you. I decided to spare you the talking and let you watch and enjoy some Tiesto instead of my horrible voice. I have a french unit, which comes with a lifetime Nokia Maps Walk license and a limited Driving license, as well as a free n-gage game. The most awesome part about the N86′s packaging is that it doesn’t come with those stupid unusable ear-terrorizing earphones anymore, it comes with a decent set of HS-83 in-ear headphones with the AD-54 remote control adapter. I haven’t tested them out fully yet, but they promise to be at least more comfortable to wear than the usual headphones, and they also come with 3 different in-ear tip sizes. Anyway, here is the unboxing, enjoy it and don’t worry if you don’t see the USB connectivity cable, my test unit didn’t come with one but it should be there in retail units.
