Last time Google updated its Mobile Maps and Youtube, they announced it quietly. Same goes for this time. Google Maps Mobile hasbeen updated to version 3.2.1. Nothing new is announced whereas the only feature highlighted is layers which was introduced in the previous version.
What you can expect however is bugfixes as well as optimizations of the application.
The Youtube client is now updated to version 2.2.17 and takes into account what many S60 5th edition users wanted most. Handsets such as the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, 5800XpressMusic, Samsung i8910 Omnia HD and Nokia N97 can now watch videos in full screen, without buttons on the side taking up screen space.
With the recent deal Youtube have signed with Time Warner the application comes just right in time for video enjoyment with contents from CNN, Cartoon Network and TNT.
Unfortunately there is still no option to log in to your own Youtube account. Hopefully this will be added in future versions. You can download these updates by going to Google Mobile with your handset.
Have you noticed any other changes?
