Gravity, the power-user’s Twitter client, has been gaining signfiicant improvements, not only in the user interface arena, but also in features and abilities. The latest release version, v1.20.6002, includes a number of updates, most of them specifically for touchscreen Symbian-powered devices like the Samsung i8910 OmniaHD or the Nokia N97. However, this new version is also the first public release to include Facebook support, which is definitely a big deal.
Once you’ve logged into your Facebook account on Gravity, you can view your friends’ feeds (I like to call this the stalker feed), as well as post your own status updates. For each of your friends’ updates, you can either add a comment, or ‘like’ it, showing others that you approve of whatever was said. Any photos that your friends have posted to their profiles will show up, though unfortunately there is no support – yet – for you to upload photos through Gravity.
We’re quite impressed with it, though with three Twitter accounts and now a Facebook account, Gravity can get to be a bit overwhelming at times. You can purchase the latest version of Gravity directly from MobileWays.de. You can also check out Dotsisx’ Ultimate Guide To Facebook On S60, which has been updated to show these new Gravity features, and helps you find other applications to interact with Facebook on your Symbian-powered smartphone.
