With Nokia World just around the corner, the rumors are flying hot-and-heavy. There’s the Nokia N97 Mini, which is all but confirmed at this point, but today a new commercial for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic was discovered by NokiApp.com. The video clearly shows an unannounced touchscreen device, possibly the replacement for the 5800 XpressMusic, maybe called the 5900 XpressMusic? What’s more, the video clearly shows a tagline of ‘Share your passions Nokia Music and Video Store on the go‘ hinting at an upcoming video store.

This isn’t a new idea, though - our friend James Burland at Nokia Creative has often written about a possible Nokia Video Store, and it only makes sense, what with kickstands now being prevalent in new Nokia Nseries devices, to make video playback a more enjoyable experience. No other information about this unannounced store is available, and honestly, given how quick Nokia has been to bring its Nokia Music Store to the U.S. (it’s not here yet, in case you missed the sarcasm), I’m not holding my breath, either.
A Nokia Video Store would bring other fascinating possibilities, though. Perhaps then we’ll see the TV-Out functionality updated to HDMI-out, or even better, perhaps we’ll see a new Nseries with a built-in projector? In any case, we’re getting more and more excited about Nokia World, which takes place on September 2-3 in Stuttgart, Germany. I’ll be there, and will be using a combination of Twitter, Qik, and more to bring as live of coverage as I can.
