ShazamID has decided to celebrate the release of the Nokia N97 (albeit a few months late) with a promotional offer for all Symbian users. From now until November 30, the ShazamID application can be downloaded from the Ovi Store for free, with unlimited use. ShazamID is an awesome application that is able to identify the artist, title, and album of a given song by capturing only a few seconds of the track.
Once ShazamID has identified a track, you can simply click once to download the track from the Nokia Music Store, or perform a number of other actions, as well. However, keep an eye on this promotion – after November 30, the application will continue to function for an additional 30 days, after which users will need to pay to upgrade to the fully-featured version. A free lite variant will also be available, though it’s unclear as to which features will be available.
