While we still recommend purchasing applications from our own Symbian-Guru Store, in part because we allow you to re-download any and all of your applications whenever you want to, there’s still lots of great freeware to be found in Nokia’s Ovi Store. One great way to find out the new applications that have been added to Ovi Store is the new MyDailyApp blog, created by the folks at Forum Nokia.
MyDailyApp is pretty self explanatory. Every day, they pick an application from the Ovi Store, and do up a post on it. Sometimes, it’ll be a full-on review, other times just a quick overview. They also provide direct links to the application in the Ovi Store, and honestly, I’m interested to know how they got a link that works for every user – that’s something I’ve yet to figure out.
You can check out MyDailyApp here. It’s definitely a step in the right direction if Nokia wants to build up its Ovi Store even more, and it could be great for the developers whose applications get highlighted, too.
