They killed N-gage the moment they decided to ditch the GPUs. Those graphics kinda suck…

IMO there’s not a thing worth playing on n-gage. And it eats up my phones precious memory so I’m staying away. I wish I still had my old original n-gage. It had a really low rez and small screen but the games were really great. I spent a lot of money on the games and collected just about everything that came out. For now I think I’ll stick with my ds and pc games. N-gage sucks

As I had the old N-gage Classic phone myself I know what you are talking about.
For one it was way much easier to backup your gamesaves as you could access them on the phone. (However leading to security issues, such as malwares).

“Eating away precious memory” depends on which phone you are using. On the N82 and N95 it’s quite adequate with space for the N-gage application. On the N97 it’s a tight fit and manageable if you don’t install other applications such as Nokia Messaging and OVI Chat.

In my opinion it’s in overall better to play N-gage 2.0 than N-gage because of the more space on the c: drive. Do you remember that games just crashed and the N-gage Classic / QD handset just restarted and in worst case “white screen of death”? That was due to the c: drive getting filled up too much.
You won’t get that in the N-gage 2.0

As for a collector the new N-gage don’t come with a nice box so you can show off the games you have. But then again you don’t need to swap memory cards for each game you want to play. (Battery cover off – take out battery – put in game on the N-gage Classic).

I can agree with you that in total not too many N-gage games are exciting, but all the N-gage 2.0 games I’ve purchased so far have given me great value for the price. Creatures Of The Deep, Reset Generation, Dirk Dagger, Boom Blox, Space Impact, Brother In Arms and Pro Series Golf are among the 21 games I’ve bought.
But of course it all depends on which taste you have in games. (I believe my choice depends on the mood + game value).

I have to agree with you Wampyre, my N82 won’t have a problem with phone memory, it still manages to have more than 60mbs free even if I have some themes, some applications and games installed in the micro sdhc memory, but as Ive heard they take internal memory too, I have like 39 ngage games installed into the micro sdhc and well, ngage isnt eating my internal memory, that might be because the N82 came with a huge free C: memory, as of now I have 3 old N-Gages with blank screen, two classic and one qd, so I do have a lot of classic N-Gage with boxes, but I have no device to play with them, as for the quality of N-Gage games, I have to say, theres some people who would love the worst quality game ever made, a lot of my friends at school play with my N82, and you wouldn’t belive what games they play, even if I have a lot of full games to choose from!

Anyway, I’m just waiting for MEGA MONSTERS to be released!

[...] We mentioned it briefly here on Symbian-guru when we talked about some of the upcoming games for N-gage. Well, time has passed since then, and Ducati Moto has been out for a while which, according to Ovigaming, is rubbish. [...]
