I’ll stick with the vanilla PC Suite. As you say, it performs solidly and does everything I need it to (sync, transfer files, install apps, update fw, phone backup, and tethering). I’ve found Nokia’s more media-centric pc apps to be real memory hogs and slow (running on XP anyway).

PC Suite for me. I don’t sync photos to my PC and I use Nokia Music and Napster to sync my music. More importantly, I use PC suite to drag and drop Excel, Word and pdk documents to my phone for business use. Until Ovi Suite has the file manager feature I am not going to switch as it just doesn’t meet my needs.

i don’t use either, unless is for updating my firmware. I like the idea of Ovi suite hekping me update different software in my phone. I just don’t like to sync my phone with my computer, I preffer to sync it with Ovi online, so I can access my info from any computer…
I hope Ovi suite has an option of only updating the phone software without syncronizing it with my computer

Ovi Suite is a huge mistake. It takes away usability and is a huge resource hog. Nokia seems unaware of how slow Ovi Suite is even on recent desktops – I do not see any new betas get faster. In fact, Nokia PC Suite feels like utorrent compared to Ovi Suite. Get your act together, Nokia.
