The Ovi Blogs have just launched a new competition wittily dubbed the “InnOviate Competition”. Basically, what the team wants you to do is go through the Ovi Store, find an application ringtone or theme, then imagine a really innovative way of using it. You can then send them a picture, a blog post, a video or an audio recording featuring this creative thought of yours. “It can be anything – the way you use it, the way you misuse it, an interesting pose, a strange situation, a whole bunch of friends. Anything. As long as it’s got something from the Store involved.”
There hasn’t been a specific number of winners established, but what we know for sure is that each winner will be able to choose 2 gifts amongst the Nokia N97, N97 mini, N900, and BH-905 headphones. If this isn’t worth scratching your grey matter, I don’t know what it. If you’re dubious as to what the Ovi team considers an innOVIative idea, they have put through a video with 3 of them being demonstrated (I’m a big fan of the first one).

The competition is now open, and will remain so until the 6th of November, so get your creative juices flowing and let go of your inner innOviation.
