The Symbian Exchange & Exposition SEE09 that will take place on October 27th and 28th in London, is now only a week away. It’s a very hyped and highly awaited event, as everyone is excited to see the first real efforts of the Symbian Foundation taking shape, and to understand the direction it will be taking. A lot of speakers and sessions are programmed, and if previous events like this are any indication, it will be a challenge to follow and stay on top of everything that’s going on.
With that in mind, the Foundation has made available a nice Web-Runtime widget that you can read about and get from their Developer site. The widget which installs on your phone with a nice white duck icon, conveniently shows the detailed schedule of both exposition days, with the speakers and a short summary of what you can expect in each keynote. It functions offline, but you could also go online to check for any information updates as well as a Twitter stream.
I only wish Nokia had made such a widget available during Nokia World 09, as I had to type every keynote into my Calendar in order to know where should I be and when. Are you going to SEE09? If so, do you plan on using this widget to organize your way through the 2 days od keynotes and expositions?
