The folks behind SymSync have now announced their release of the SymRDP application we mentioned briefly.
Their newest application SymRDP is an application that let’s you access your computer remotely. Via the touchscreen on your Symbian-powered handset you can control the mouse or use the virtual keyboard simulating a 84-key keyboard to perform actions you normally would do in front of your computer. What’s neat is that if your handset has a physical keyboard it will map the keys as close to a computer keyboard as possible.
Use cases for this application can be that you have some documents at your home computer you want to show someone or you want to send those documents to your handset. Just fire up SymRDP and send the documents via email to your Symbian-powered handset such as the Sony Ericsson Satio without having to go to your workplace or home first.
The application will soon be added to the Telexy Network Commander, the full suite of applications they have to offer. Should you decide to buy their Telexy Network Commander today, you are eligible to upgrade to the version with SymRDP included for free. You can get more information and download a trial of the application from Telexy.
Have you used applications from Telexy and are you excited about this newcomer?
