I hope that rumors related a T-Mobile branded N900 pan out. I am using the N97 on AT&T's 3G and it is terrible in comparison to the 3G speeds with T-M and other phone manufacturers. I am month-2-month with AT&T and if the branded N900 is a reality (with 2 yr contract) or the reliability is not as bad as the N97 then I will go back to T-M. They were great with my E71 without 3G.

Oh, and I did use my N97 on T-M sans 3G for about a week. While there was a noticeable difference in performance once I switched to AT&T the issues I have with dropping calls and retaining signal are too great to justify staying with them.

The 5230 sounds great to me. Yes the 5800 (which I own) is already reasonably price IF you are comparing it to other smart-phones, but really they are all very expensive compared to what I can afford!

The money you save by buying the 5230 can go towards your data plan - and then you don't need the Wi-Fi!
