Today in the United States, we’re celebrating Thanksgiving Day. It started when the colonists came over from Europe, met the Native Americans at Plymouth Rock, and got together for a feast and to give thanks, and we still celebrate it today. Honestly, it’s my favorite holiday of the entire year, as it marks the beginning of when it’s OK to start celebrating Christmas, with holiday music and massive amounts of awesome food.
Since it also happens to be the day before our birthday here at Symbian-Guru, it’s extra-special for us, as well. To help celebrate, our friends at Sandisk have given us a 16GB microSD card with adapters to give away to those we’re most thankful for – you, our readers. This one is simple – leave a comment letting us know what you’re the most thankful for. It doesn’t have to be mobile-related at all, just let us know what you’re thankful for.
You need to be quick on this one – contest is closed at midnight CST tonight (Thursday, Nov 27). Simply leave a comment and let us know. The winner will be randomly chosen and we’ll ship your new memory card right out.
Us? Well:
TheGuru: I’m thankful for my friends and family. I have some of the coolest family ever, and along the ride of my life, I’ve had the pleasure of making quite a few friends, and I’m extremely thankful for them.
Dotsisx: I’m thankful for the experience of living one year away in France, the people I’ve met and the things I’ve learned, but most importantly I’m thankful for being back home now and knowing more than ever that this is where I belong.
