We earlier told you about the InnOVIate competition from the Ovi Blog team which asked you to look for applications, themes or games from the Ovi Store and find a creative innovative way to use them, then upload a video of that.
The winners have just been announced on the team’s blog, with 3 creative ideas chosen from all the entries. The first one, from Timothy Jeffcoat, uses Strobe Touch with balloons and music to make a light show with a color twist. Strobe is one of those wow-effect applications on Symbian^1 in my opinion, and I’ve already personally used it along with some music to give my cousins and friends a party effect.
The second one is from Tanapruk Tangphianphan and makes use of Nokia’s Handwriting Calculator and a TV to create a visual math tutorial. The third one, which really captured my attention honestly and is probably my favorite, is an idea by Sergio Silva who made a treasure hunt using SMS Preview, Ovi Maps, Upcode, YouTube and Nokia Magnifier.
