TheGuru recently taught you how to use the Nokia Software Updater with Windows 7 and his argument was that Windows 7 will soon be running on all systems, which is very true. (I’m planning to switch to Windows 7 myself soon). To facilitate this, the good old “Vanilla” PC Suite has been given an update going up to version 7.1.40.1. Windows 7 users can rejoice as this version provides support for the operating system and comes along with some bugfixes.
You can download the latest version from Nokia PC Suite or use the built in update function in the application by going to web – check for updates and addons. With the recent rebranding of the Nokia Music PC Client (which is a long name), I really hope that the Vanilla PC Suite will not be replaced with OVI Suite in the first place, though I believe that’s the plan.
