My personal favorite Symbian application, Mobbler, has just released a new update, v0.08.237, with a few new features in tow. For starters, owners of the Nokia E52 and E72 can now reliably use Mobbler, though without support for the equalizer function. You can also now view a list of tracks that the application is waiting to scrobble through the Tools menu, which is a nice little feature.
Google Maps has also been integrated, so that you can get a quick view of an event’s location, for concerts and such. You can also easily share Mobbler with your friends through a QR Code that can be shown on your screen – again, quite a nice little update.
If you already have Mobbler installed on your Symbian-powered smartphone, it should automatically prompt you to update the next time you launch it. Otherwise, you can head over to the Mobbler website to get the goods. I’ve also heard that this latest version should finally be available through the Ovi Store soon, which is awesome for the Mobbler team. We’ll update when that’s available, too.
