Granted, anything from the Nokia Beta Labs is inherently unfinished, but the team there has just released an early beta of their Nokia Image Exchange application, finally for Symbian-powered touchscreen smartphones, such as the Nokia N97, X6, and 5800 XpressMusic.

The Nokia Image Exchange application lets you browse, organize, and share your images in a whole new way, with a really nice user interface, as opposed to the boring old Symbian Gallery app. The application is also tied to a web service, so that you can easily browse your collection on a PC, Mac, or Linux-based computer.
This touchscreen beta is quite primitive compared to the non-touchscreen version, though it does include support for uploading your images to Facebook. Here’s a video showing the interface running on the Nokia X6
