    Good eye!

I definitely want to see an Eseries touchscreen… should be a great little device.

My guess is a branded/modified version of the N97 Mini, but of course I too am hoping its something more. I think it could have the tilting screen – the pic is too small to tell for sure one way or the other.

The screen looks really wide to me. Could very well be the next communicator, the E90 successor!

Because of the display surrounded by black like the N97 and mini and what appears to be a N97 menu button in the bottom left (if held in portrait mode), I think it looks like a new version of the N97 or mini without the tilt screen. Maybe they will combine the best of the N97 and N900 to make the next generation Maemo based phone.

The device pictured is the N97 Mini. Thanks,

Thanks so much for the clarification Davis. Hopefully that's headed straight to AT&T

If someone told me that the N97 mini was coming to AT&T or T-Mobile, I would tell them they were full of it. If they told me that there was a new stupid, unnecessary nickname for the N97 mini: “The Saga,” then I might bet good money it was going to one of those two. At this point American carriers are incapable of releasing models unless they have some arbitrarily conceived nickname. Sadly, I have to remind everyone that Samsung has already released a Windows Mobile phone called the Saga under Verizon Wireless in the States. There is no way AT&T or T-Mobile would make such an oversight, so no phone called the Saga will be released by either of them. This certainly doesn't rule out Canada though. Rogers has become mighty fond of the arbitrary nickname game in recent years.

Now that its been affirmed that its an N97 Mini, maybe you might want to reflect this in the article Ricky.

  • http://twitter.com/EverythingBlaxx EverythingBlaxx

What's up with the Saga name tho?

  • http://www.rickycadden.com Ricky Cadden

So sorry to have left this – I could have *sworn* I updated the article the other day – apparently the changes didn't save.

The Eseries will surely be getting a touchscreen….

  • youareacluelessguru

Someone get this guy an n900. As an owner I can tell you the only thing Nokia has failed at is marketing and giving up on the US marketshare too early

  • http://www.rickycadden.com Ricky Cadden

I have an N900 – I got it in October/November, and it's sat on my desk, untouched (for the most part) since my N97 arrived. You can check out our coverage of Maemo at http://www.Maemo-Guru.com
