Can't download – saying don't have access, even after signing into OVI account

Indeed, this is a pretty cool app; especially on days when you get firmware updates and don't keep settings on a device reset.

It installs on my 5800 but does not autocomplete any words at all. Anyone else having the same problem? Or parhaps has got it working on a 5800?

I like the BlackBerry system better. They supply a dictionary but you can change it (add, delete, etc.) however you want. It doesn't try to predict anything, which usually ends up causing errors, like T9.

Instead, it corrects the word AFTER you type it. For example I type

    i am going

and as soon as I space away from the i it changes to I.

If I type theres it changes it to there's. Simple, fast, and not error prone at all. And very customizable.

i don't want to try this app, seems like most on here having problems with it or can't install it. I use adaptxt. I've never had any problems with this app. It's always on, doesn't delete words during firmware updates, and my friends just can't beat me in our speed test. They use two hands with full qwerty, and me, one handed , n82 with my thumb :)

i disagree with you guru. I hope Nokia do not contribute it to symbian foundation. At least Nokia will have some elxusivity

I just purchased my first blackberry (javellin) 2 weeks ago after getting fed up with the full of bugs software of N97.
I agree with every word of yours. The RIM Blackberry auto correction is reall awesome.

Funny, I owned a Blackberry Bold 9700 for 3 days after I broke my E71. One of the factors in my returning it was the Blackberry auto-correct feature. I prefer auto-complete over auto-correct. I'm not sure if the N97 was known for great auto-complete implementation, but on my E71 (which I ended up fixing) I can type much faster. Because the Nokia system guesses as I type, I can type “dict”, it suggests “dictionary”. At that point, I simply press Space and the word is completed. Since I had to press Space anyway, that feature saves me 6 key presses.

What used to drive me nuts on the Nokia system was that I didn't know how to override it. Now I know I simply have to press Up to force it to accept what I'm typing.

The BB was a great piece of hardware and i can see why people fall in love with it. Many of the things that I couldn't stand about it, such as the shape of the keys, are probably the things that BB users love. Thank God there are plenty of options for consumers!
