You gotta love Pixelpipe, these guys are working hard to make it dead easy to upload any media file type to any known internet service destination through the simplest of processes. Yesterday, they added support for AudioBoo uploads, the famous audioblogging tool, then a few hours later, they updated their Nokia Share Online plugin to allow uploads of audio AAC and MP4 files. If you do the math correctly, you’ll see that it is now possible to upload AudioBoo’s from your Symbian phone through Share Online and Pixelpipe with a few clicks of a button.
First, in order to set things up, you need to create a new Pipe in your Pixelpipe account for AudioBoo. Then, if you already have Pixelpipe set up inside Share Online on your phone, highlight it and click Options / Update Service. You should see AudioBoo appearing on your list of Pipes, and Pixelpipe will now also recognize .aac and .mp4 audio files. If you don’t have Pixelpipe set up on your phone, head over to m.pixelpipe.com/nokia and download the configuration file for your phone.
Now that things are all set, anytime you want to upload an AudioBoo, open the Voice Recorder application on your phone and make an audio recording. Then, head over to Share Online, click the Pixelpipe service, choose AudioBoo, add the Audio file that you just created, choose a name and tag, and upload it. It’s as simple as that.
And here is the test Boo I uploaded through PixelPipe to make sure it works:
Are you an AudioBoo user? If so, what do you think of this easy method to upload a boo from your phone?
