Of all eight Nokias I've owned (N97 and E71 included) the N91 is the sexiest in my opinion!

  • Smasher A.T

    My list goes 6 deep…

    6) Nokia 8850 – to me that thing just oozed sex…
    5) Nokia 6700 – stainless steel, sleek, small..
    4) E71 – the first phone that made me enjoy that type of qwerty candy bar form factor
    3) Nokia 8800 – love the looks and form factor…would have been even more awesome if they had put s60 on there….
    2) Nokia N97 mini – sleek, e-series build quality, tilting screen with smartphone capabilities (therefore edging out the Nokia 8800
    1) Nokia 8110….freaken matrix/banana phone….nuff said…actually one more thing..the first phone that got me into Nokia…

Have to disagree with you on the N76. After a month of use, it chips away like bad makeup. Ends up looking horrible. I think the E66 is one fine looking phone.

I just posted my vote at http://wp.me/pOhA7-6q but in a nutshell: #3 is the 2651, #2 is the E71 and #1 is any variation of the 8800.

Hmmm. I reckon the sexiest Nokia ever is the 8910i, followed by the 8110.

But for Nokia's Symbian handsets… hmm, that's a bit harder. The N95 was really *cool* when it came out, it was so well specced and pretty innovative, but it wasn't pretty. The N96 on the other hand made the N95 spec and form factor look almost pretty. But it's not my favourite Symbian Nokia either, looks wise…

That honour goes to the N93i. Not sleek and pretty, but for the time it was top of the range spec wise. Better yet, it did the cool twisty thing and that was sexy!

I like the N76, it crossed my mind as well when I saw this post, since really I prefer flip phones, but the N93 edged it for me.

My dream phone for what it's worth would be a Nokia N series flip phone with a body somewhat like the Samsung V820L, a 3-3.5″ fully rotatable screen, which would then be touch sensitive as well. I prefer a number pad over QWERTY, but I do like real buttons for text entry. I like touch because it's intuitive and fast through menus and grids. Camera would go in hinge ala the N93. Oh yeah, and a big C drive :-)

Seriously Ricky, you and your damn camo phones… :)

I agree that the N76 is one of the most attractive phones out of Espoo in recent years, but Aatif Sumar is right, that beauty does not last long. I have never once seen an N76 in good condition more than a day after its owner took it out of the box.

As for my vote, I could never settle on a single model. The salesman in me would say the E71. Its sexiness comes from its perfect simplicity, inside and out. The repairman in me would say the N97, as its the only Nokia with moving parts which should never wear out. If you think the N97's slide mechanism feels strong from the outside, wait until you're staring at it from the inside. Finally the uber-geek in me would have to say the N95. Despite its initial faults there is no other Nokia that was so ahead of its time as the N95. It represents a level of technological innovation that we have not seen again from Nokia since the N95's release. The N95's sex appeal came from its jaw-droppingly awesome power.

N900 looks really sexy imho :)

No doubt, I will go for the E71!

Sexiest Nokia phone ever was the 6600 (not the new variants i and fold, but the original one). No discussion needed there as it is simply a fact. :-P

always been a fan of dark phones – added chrome and stainless steel parts make my dream phone even more hot – and i must say, the black E72 is one hot Phone. Totally love the Design, even more than the E71!

that is of course the Symbian Question, but when it comes to EVERY Phone available i have 2 other Picks:

Nokia 8800 Carbon Edition and the unbelievable hot Nokia 8600 LUNA! dont forget about those two super hot looking Phones ;)

    6. Nokia 7200
    5. Nokia 7650, the one that started the Symbian generation
    4. Nokia N82, specially the black one
    3. Nokia 8800 series
    2. Nokia N93i just the perfect sleeper-phone
    1. N95 8GB, that thing just has jaw-dropping amounts of presence

All the praises e71 design gets is what really puzzles me. I acknowledge it's durability – it's an important thing. But looking from pure form standpoint e71 has too many unnecessary elements. E72 looks way cleaner and more refined than e71. I'd definately call e72 a sexy device. It's sexiness was what almost made me buy it – before I ultimately went for n97 mini in white. It looks georgeous:). Which reminds me of n86 white wersion which also looks perfectly sexy and is missing from your top 3;)

  • larkorigin

You have to be kidding? The N76 razor derivative with the chrome highlights that just peeled off like cheap tinfoil.

By far better looking was the E61.

  • http://www.rickycadden.com Ricky Cadden

I didn't base this at all on how well the phone held up – only how well they look in a photo.

  • Mashhood

nokia 8800 arte is imho better than the rest and never forget the amazing 8600 luna.

  • SmoothRevolution

The most sexiest nokia phone has been my 8890 … It was worth working for 6 weeks just beeing able to afford it (think it has been in 1999??!!) Nothing beat the white display, the aluminium case and the slider rails in chrome optic… At this time.
    2nd is the N958GB
    3rd …. Dont know. N97???

  • SmoothRevolution

a short comment to my last post … its been a 8850 and not a 8890!? But as far as I know, the devices technically the same.

    The N76?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

    The E71. Hands down.

*Can someone get The Guru a doctor? I think he's hurt his head…

Not because it's the one I own now, but it's the Sexiet! The @NokiaE72

  • mobil1

Sexiest Nokia ever is definitely the N97 Mini in the “Garnet” color. That device is just stunning. It's dimensions are perfect, the screen angle is optimal, the build is even better than most E-Series, & the ergonomics are great.

But for a non-smart phone, the 8600 Luna is beautiful as well. It event trumps all the 8800 iterations IMO. The slide was unique, & the “breathing” effect added to it's allure & mystique.

Sorry, but the N76 was just another clam-shell. It wasn't as striking as many of Nokia's other offerings around the same time, & it was a huge device, especially when opened, & the paint flaked off like an Earl Scheib paint job.
