The mobile YouTube application for Symbian-powered smartphones was updated yesterday and finally includes the ability to login to your account, so you can easily access your favorites and other account-specific features. The interface has also been redesigned a bit to be more finger-friendly, and the player view is much improved, as well.
You can download the application by pointing your phone’s browser to http://m.youtube.com/app. If you’re using the Nokia N97, you can download the .sis file directly from here – it seems YouTube hasn’t marked the N97 as compatible, though it works awesome on mine.
Don’t forget that you can subscribe to the Symbian-Guru YouTube channel to catch our videos before they go live on the site, as well!
