Our good friends at Waze have just opened the service up to everywhere in the world. The social GPS navigation service was previously limited to U.S. and Israel, but today they’ve announced that over 20 additional countries are supported, including Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and Trinidad and Tobago. Waze, which we previewed earlier, is a GPS and navigation application for your Symbian-powered handset. From the official website there are only 7 phones displayed as being supported being the E66, E71, E75, N82, N85, N95 and the N96. Waze is already launched on the iPhone and in the Android Market, and should be available for Symbian-powered smartphones very soon.
